System to Evaluate the Excellence of Research (SEER)

To facilitate institutions getting early information on the direction of ERA, the ARC developed the ERA Pilot Submission Guidelines. The Pilot Guidelines were released to institutions on 1 October 2008.

The Guidelines were used for a Pilot of the ERA system. The focus of this Pilot was to conduct a limited test of the IT system to capture a subset of ERA information—in particular, the four major research publication categories and Australian competitive grant income.

The Pilot of the ERA system is now closed.
