Citation Supplier

Scopus is the citation data supplier for the 2010 ERA Evaluation.

Under an agreement with Scopus, the ARC will provide static citation counts and benchmarks used in ERA to submitting institutions post-evaluation.

Publication Tagging

In order for the ARC to process publication records for citation analysis, all publication outputs must be submitted with a Scopus unique article identifier (electronic identifier – EID). This allows the ARC to match the citation numbers for each publication outputs quickly and accurately post-submission.
In preparation for submission in 2010, institutions will be required to submit the relevant EID for each paper published in a journal indexed by Scopus. To facilitate this, the ARC has made arrangements for Scopus to undertake EID tagging for each of the submitting institutions.

FAQs about the 2010 tagging process are available:

From 1 January 2010, institutions can submit records for tagging via the Scopus ERA web portal at: www.era2010eidtagging.com.

Detailed information about the publication tagging process is available from the portal.
