Finalising the ranked journal list

The ARC sought initial submissions from the sector to the draft journal rankings process between 12 June and 14 August 2008.

The ERA PCE and HCA journal lists for the 2009 Trial of ERA are now available. Please note that these lists do not show the non-PCE and non-HCA FoR assignments, as these are yet to be finalised.

The PCE journal list identifies the journals that are indexed by Scopus, and therefore subject to citation analysis under ERA. The list includes a ‘date indexed’ column. The HCA cluster will not use citation analysis, and therefore does not contain information regarding indexing.

Revising the ranked journal list in the future

The ARC is revising the entire ERA journal list prior to the 2010 full implementation of ERA through a similar consultation process.
