Consultation on the Research Outlet Rankings

The ERA initiative will use a range of indicators and other proxies to support the evaluation of research excellence. One of these indicators is discipline-specific tiered outlet rankings.

The ARC has consulted with the sector to assist with the development of research journal rankings, a subset of tiered outlet rankings.

Draft Physical, Chemical and Earth Sciences Journal list

To assist with the Excellence in Research (ERA) SEER Pilot, the ARC has produced a list of draft journals assigned to Physical, Chemical and Earth Sciences Field of Research codes. This list does not incorporate feedback received during the July/August public consultations. We expect to make a revised list incorporating this feedback available later this year, which will identify any major changes from the draft list.
