ERA PCE and HCA Journal Lists
The ARC has released the ERA Physical, Chemical and Earth Sciences (PCE) and Humanities and Creative Arts (HCA) journal lists. The lists are a result of consultations with the sector and rigorous review by leading researchers and the ARC.

The ERA PCE and HCA journal list contains the following:
- ERA ID
- Rank (rank assigned to the journal)
- Title (journal title)
- Indexed (whether the journal is indexed by Scopus) (PCE only)
- FoR/s (the field of research code/s associated with the journal)
- FoR name/s (the field of research names/s associated with the journal)
- ISSN/s (primary, other and previous ISSNs of the journal)
To assist the sector with using the ERA PCE and HCA journal lists, the ARC has released two formats.
The Scopus PCE Indexed list was generated from what is currently indexed in the Scopus database as of 1st March 2009.
- Unique journals with all associated FoR codes in one record
- PCE - Excel Format (383kb)
- HCA - Excel Format (1.53mb)
- Complete journals broken down on a discipline (FoR code) basis (duplicate Journals if the journal is assigned to more than 1 FoR)
- PCE - Excel Format (398kb)
- HCA - Excel Format (1.52mb)
The HCA journal list has now been updated to include multidisciplinary science journals. Please note that the multidisciplinary science journals contained in the HCA list are identical to the multidisciplinary science journals contained in the PCE list.
Note: Once the journal rankings have been finalised across all disciplines, a single list will be created and used for ERA 2010.
