Key ARC Publications
As a primary source of policy advice to the Australian Government on investment in the national research effort, the ARC plays a key role in the Government's investment in the future prosperity and well-being of the Australian community.
In doing so, one of the ARC's priorities is a focus on the development and support of national research policy, along with science innovation policy, which sit within the context of the Government's National Research Priorities, 2001 Innovation Action Plan, Backing Australia's Ability, and its Higher Education Reform package, Backing Australia's Future, which was announced in May 2003.
The ARC is directly participating in, or responding to, a number of reviews and studies designed to underpin the future development of Government initiatives to support science, innovation and research:
