On 30 April 2014 the ARC welcomed Ms Yu-Lan Huang, Director, Science and Technology Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Australia (TECO).

TECO in Australia was established in 1992. The office is the highest representative office of the Government of Taiwan, ROC in Australia. The mission of TECO is to promote bilateral governmental, parliamentary, trade, investment, education, culture, science and technology exchanges and interactions, as well as the provision of consular services between Taiwan and Australia.

The ARC and Ms Huang discussed the Australian Innovation and funding system and mutual opportunities for both countries. The delegates shared grant management experiences and international opportunities of both agencies.
