Co-funded Centres of Excellence

The ARC works collaboratively with other agencies to jointly fund high-quality research. There are four co-funded Centres of Excellence:

• Australian Centre for Plant Functional Genomics, with the Grains Research and Development Corporation
• Australian Stem Cell Centre, with the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research
• National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training, with the National Water Commission
  
• National ICT Australia, also called NICTA, with the Department of Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy
