Linkage Australian Postdoctoral Fellowships (CSIRO)
One funding round for Linkage–Australian Postdoctoral Fellowships (CSIRO) (Linkage-APCD) was held in 2002-03. At this stage, the ARC does not envisage any further funding rounds.
Linkage Australian Postdoctoral Fellowships (CSIRO) (Linkage APDC) is a program funded by the ARC and CSIRO. Linkage APDC aims to encourage and develop long-term, capacity-building research alliances between universities and CSIRO. The program also aims to:
- strengthen collaboration between universities and CSIRO; and
- provide enhanced training opportunities for early career researchers.
The program provides funding for up to 10 APDCs in 2003.
Both the ARC and the CSIRO place great importance on nurturing early career researchers and the provision of quality research training and APDCs will be exposed young researchers to the strategic research framework within which the CSIRO operates, as well as the fundamental research framework of university research. APDCs are tenable in eligible higher education institutions or CSIRO divisions.
Applications closed 25 October 2002 for funding commencing in 2003. Applicants should familiarise themselves with the Funding Rules and Funding Contracts.
