ERA 2015 Update

The ERA team at the ARC continues its preparations for ERA 2015 and a great deal of work is ongoing following the public consultation period on the Draft Journal and Conference Lists.

The public consultation period closed on 21 March and since that time the ERA team has been closely reviewing the submissions received.

ARC CEO, Professor Aidan Byrne, said he was extremely grateful  for the number of submissions received.

“The ARC received close to 12 000 pieces of feedback on FoR allocations and requests for new journals and conferences to be included.

“This shows how engaged the sector is when it comes to ERA and ensuring we have robust measures in place to assess the quality of research  in this country.”

The ERA team is now consolidating the information gathered during this phase. The team is also now consulting with a number of peak bodies  to seek feedback on the consolidated responses to the journal and conference  lists.

The ARC will finalise and release the journal and conference lists in the second half of this year.
