ARC Kathleen Fitzpatrick Laureate Fellow, Professor Anne Orford, was recently interviewed by the President of the European University Institute discussing her Laureate Fellowship in the area of Civil war, intervention and international law. Professor Orford, from The University of Melbourne, talks about her fellowship, which aims to answer the question of whether, and if so when, it is lawful for external actors to intervene in support of parties to a civil war. Professor Orford also discusses the mentoring and ambassadorial role she will undertake as part of her Fellowship to boost participation in research by women.
