Policy Online Wins 2014 Australia and New Zealand Internet Awards

Policy Online, based at Swinburne University of Technology, has won the Information category in the 2014 Australian and New Zealand Internet Awards (ANZIA). Policy Online is a database and alert service that provides free access to full text research reports, papers, statistics and other resources essential for public policy development and implementation in Australia and New Zealand. The ANZIA awards celebrate the achievements of organisations, businesses and individuals that have made significant contributions to the development and use of the internet in Australia and New Zealand. Since being founded as a small project at Swinburne University of Technology in 2002, the database now contains over 20 000 research records from more than 2000 organisations and receives over half a million visits each year. Policy Online's major supporting partners are Swinburne University of Technology, RMIT University, Victoria University of Wellington, The University of Adelaide and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation.
