This figure shows the ARC’s organisational structure as at June 2019. First Tier: Chief Executive Officer, Professor Sue Thomas Second Tier (middle): Executive Directors, Professor Stephen Buckman, Professor Therese Jefferson, Dr Robert Mun, and Professor Joanne Tompkins, with reporting line to CEO. Second Tier (right): Executive General Manager, Dr Tony Willis, with reporting line to the CEO. Third tier: Five branches including: 1. Programs Branch, headed by Ms Kathie Dent, comprising three sections, Grant Opportunities, Grant Support and Major Investments, with reporting line to the CEO. 2. Policy and Strategy Branch, headed by Ms Kylie Emery, comprising three sections, Policy and Integrity, Strategy and Governance and Data and Grant Guidelines, with reporting line to the CEO. 3. Research Excellence Branch, headed by Ms Sarah Howard, Branch Manager, comprising three sections, Research Evaluation, Bibliometrics and Evaluation Reporting, and Research Systems and Data, with reporting line to the Executive General Manager. 4.
