FL250100109 – Reforming Australia's work disability benefit systems
Professor Collie aims to modernise Australia’s work disability support systems by developing new evidence-based tools and policy models. This project will integrate multidisciplinary approaches to assess system effectiveness, understand long-term work absences, and reflect community preferences. The outcomes will support more sustainable and participant-centred systems, reduce work disability and improve productivity. The research will be translated through a national community of practice and a training program involving people with lived experience.
