They bring discipline expertise, support the delivery of funding schemes, and engage regularly with the higher education and research sector. Drawn from Australian universities, Academic Directors ensure the ARC has strong sector‑based knowledge and act as a key liaison between the ARC and the research community, supporting information exchange and consultation.
