Industrial Transformation Research Hubs fund Eligible Organisations to undertake cutting-edge research on new technologies and economic, commercial and social transformation to benefit industry partners in the Industrial Transformation Priority areas.

Applicants should read the relevant Grant Guidelines and Grant Agreements. Grants from the ARC are made to organisations, not individual researchers or research teams. The Grant Guidelines contain the list of Eligible Organisations.

Program objectives

The objectives of the Industrial Transformation Research Hubs Program are to:

  • support collaborative research projects between universities and organisations outside the Australian higher education sector that involve cutting-edge research on new technologies; and
  • leverage national and international investment in targeted industry sectors, including from industry and other research end-users.

The intended outcomes of the Research Hubs scheme are:

  • growth, productivity and competitiveness within the Industrial Transformation Priorities; and
  • economic, commercial and social transformation.

Who is this for?

The Industrial Transformation Research Program (ITRP) supports university researchers to partner with industry in priority areas for Australia. The Industrial Transformation Research Hubs are focussed on issues facing industry.

How do I apply?
