Date: 23 July 2025 Multi-factor authentication (MFA) will soon be required for all users of the Research Management System (RMS) and the System to Evaluate the Excellence of Research (SEER). This change helps protect your account and aligns with the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s cyber security strategies. From 19 August 2025, you’ll need more than just your password to log in. You’ll also need to enter an authentication code. What you need to do Set up MFA before 19 August to avoid access issues and receive support if needed. You can set up MFA using: Your mobile phone (recommended).A desktop MFA browser extension for RMS. How to set up MFA: Log in to RMS or SEER.Go to ‘Personal Details’ in the Action Centre.Click on ‘MFA Settings’.Follow the prompts to complete setup.
