The Australian Research Council has released the ERA 2023 Benchmarking and Rating Scale Consultation Paper. We are seeking responses to proposed improvements to the ERA methodology to be adopted for ERA 2023.

Applications for Discovery Indigenous for funding commencing in 2023 will close at 5:00pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 16 March 2022.

Consultation is now open for the draft ERA 2023 Submission Guidelines (and associated documents). The ARC is also seeking feedback on the inclusion of preprints in ERA through this consultation. Consultations close 18 March 2022. 

Ms Judi Zielke has been appointed as Acting CEO of the ARC, starting on 1 February 2022. 

The opening of applications for the Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities (LIEF) scheme for funding commencing in 2023 scheduled to open in the Research Management System (RMS) on Thursday 27 January 2022 has been delayed.
