Date: 10 December 2025 The Australian Research Council (ARC) acknowledges the continued interest in the implementation of the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP) Policy Review. The Final Report remains under consideration by the Australian Government. To maintain continuity and certainty, the ARC is planning for upcoming funding opportunities. In addition to the schemes already listed in the NCGP Scheme Calendar for the first half of 2026, we will be adding two further schemes: Australian Laureate Fellowships 2027 (expected to open late March 2026) Discovery Indigenous 2027 (expected to open in June 2026) These schemes reflect the ARC's commitment to excellence, equity, and leadership in Australian research. The NCGP Scheme Calendar will be updated in due course. Important: Grant Guidelines will be issued in due course. Please review these thoroughly before applying.
