Date: 9 September 2026 The Forecast Opportunity for the ARC Industrial Transformation Research Program for funding commencing in 2027 (ITRP27) is now available on GrantConnect: Forecast Opportunity View– ITRP27 Industrial Transformation Research Hubs 2027 (IH27) and Industrial Transformation Training Centres 2027 (IC27) will operate under the Linkage Program: Industrial Transformation Research Program Grant Opportunity Guidelines (2026 edition). The Guidelines have been updated, including changes to the Partner Organisation contribution requirements and removal of the rejoinder process. Details of these changes have been communicated to the sector via ARC website: Update to the Industrial Transformation Research Program 2027, Future Fellowships 2027, and Discovery Projects 2028 grant opportunities. The updated Guidelines also introduce a requirement that all named participants must have an Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier (ORCID), in their RMS Profile prior to commencement of the project. Please ensure you refer to the updated Guidelines when preparing an application. Please note ARC Grant Opportunity Guidelines are legislative instruments that have been tabled in Parliament and may be subject to disallowance. Applications for IH27 and IC27 will open in the Research Management System (RMS) on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
