The ARC is always looking to expand the talent and resources of the Assessor Community.

If you are not already part of our Assessor Community, please consider applying today!

As an assessor, you will have the chance to familiarise yourself with new cutting edge research, in confidence, within your field of expertise. You will have the opportunity to see the breadth and depth of what the best researchers in the country are working on and become familiar with their research agendas and scholarly priorities. Additionally, the process provides unequalled opportunity to strengthen your own future ARC applications by exposing you to grant writing examples, and providing an in-depth understanding of the ARC peer review process. Being an ARC assessor furthers your professional development, while providing an invaluable contribution to Australian research and innovation.

Visit the Assessor Roles page for more information.

To be considered as an assessor for the ARC, please email your current CV and your top three FOR codes to the ARC Peer Review Team. Your request will be reviewed by the discipline Executive Director and you will be informed of the outcome in a timely manner.

In addition, if you are a Chief Investigator on a currently funded ARC project, you will automatically be added to our assessor community as a condition of your funding.

If you feel you can contribute to the funding of quality research in Australia by becoming a Detailed assessor, please do not hesitate to contact us. National and international researchers are welcome to apply.

If you know a colleague either in Australia or internationally who would be a valuable ARC assessor, please provide their contact details to the ARC Peer Review Team.
